GANDERBAL: 05 OCT 2026: Al Qamar Pharmacy was inaugurated today opposite Qamaria Stadium in Ganderbal, with the objective of providing quality healthcare services and medicines to the people under one roof.The pharmacy was inaugurated by Sofi Taja, mother of Khurshid Ahmad Sofi, the owner of Al Qamar Pharmacy.
The facility will offer consultations with experienced doctors across various specialties, including General Medicine, General Physician, Orthopedics and Cardiology, along with other healthcare-related services. Quality medicines will also be available at the pharmacy.
Speaking on the occasion, Khurshid Ahmad Sofi said the pharmacy has been established with the aim of serving the people of Ganderbal and providing accessible and quality healthcare services and medicines.
He said he chose to have the pharmacy inaugurated by his mother, stating that “no one is bigger than my mother.”
The management said the facility is intended to make multiple healthcare services easily accessible to the public by bringing them together under one roof.
