As part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ launched by the Government of India, the 13th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal, Dignibal organised a patriotic programme at the Battalion premises today with great enthusiasm and national spirit.
On the occasion, Shri Mukesh Singh Yadav, Commandant, 13th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal, welcomed and addressed the officers, subordinate officers, jawans, distinguished representatives from the village and school children present at the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant stated that the National Flag, the Tricolour, is a symbol of the unity, integrity, courage, peace and national pride of the country. He highlighted that the objective of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ is not merely to hoist the Tricolour at every household but also to strengthen the spirit of patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility towards the nation in the hearts of every citizen.
He further stated that the Tricolour is not merely an adornment of our homes, but represents our pride, self-respect and dedication towards the nation. He appealed to all citizens to participate enthusiastically in the campaign by hoisting the Tricolour at their homes and contributing towards strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation.
During the programme, the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’ was also commemorated with pride. The participants expressed their patriotism and dedication towards the nation by raising slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.
The enthusiastic participation of the distinguished village representatives and school children added to the significance and grandeur of the programme.
At the conclusion of the programme, all officers, jawans, citizens and children present took a solemn pledge to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation and always respect the National Flag.
