New Delhi/Tehran, Jun 8: The Embassy of India in Tehran on Monday issued a fresh advisory urging Indian nationals to avoid travelling to Iran and advising those currently in the country to leave immediately through available means of transport amid the latest developments in the region.
In an official statement issued on June 8, as per news agency JKNS, the Embassy reiterated its earlier advisory and asked all Indian citizens to refrain from undertaking any travel to Iran until further notice.
“Indian Nationals presently in Iran are also advised to exit the country by available means of transport,” the advisory stated.
The latest advisory comes against the backdrop of evolving regional developments and heightened security concerns in West Asia, prompting Indian authorities to closely monitor the situation.
The Embassy has urged Indian nationals to remain vigilant and follow official updates issued by the Government of India and the Indian mission in Tehran. (JKNS)
