Ganderbal: On 27/05/2026 PS Sonamarg recieved information through reliable sources to the effect that one suspect person namely, Mh. Ayob Jara S/O Ab. Rehman Jara R/O Androola poonch is roaming in domail area and is impersonating himself as government employee working on domail axis of Shree Amarnath Cave and on this pretext the said person is attempting to cheat visiting vendors and service providers by impersonating himself that he would facilitate their visit to the cave in lieu of money.
In this regard, FIR was registered under relevant sections of BNS at PS Sonamarg and investigation was taken up.
On 03/06/2026 late evening the said accused was nabbed.
