
Ganderbal, June 5: Editor-in-Chief of Asian Nama, Ehsaan Yousf, felicitated Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, during the Mega Padyatra organized in Ganderbal under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
The padyatra, led by the Lieutenant Governor, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, government officials, civil society members, and local residents who joined the awareness campaign against drug abuse.
The event aimed to promote a drug-free society and encourage the youth to stay away from narcotics and substance abuse.
On the occasion, Ehsaan Yousf was also awarded the second position in the Reel Competition organized as part of the anti-drug awareness campaign.
He received a cash prize and a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his creative contribution towards spreading awareness against substance abuse through digital media platforms.
Addressing the gathering, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized the need for collective efforts to combat the growing menace of drug addiction. He called upon all sections of society, including parents, educators, community leaders, and youth, to actively support the mission of building a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
The event concluded with participants taking a renewed pledge to strengthen awareness initiatives and work collectively to safeguard the younger generation from the harmful effects of drug abuse.
