Distributes Rs 30,000 as immediate relief
Srinagar, 06 Jul: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq Monday visited the families affected by the devastating fire incident at Amda Kadal in Lal Bazar to express his heartfelt sympathies and stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
Interacting with the affected families, Tanvir Sadiq assured them that they would not be left alone in their hour of need. He listened to their concerns, assessed the extent of the damage caused by the blaze, and assured them that every possible effort would be made to facilitate timely relief and rehabilitation.
As an immediate relief measure, Tanvir Sadiq distributed financial assistance of Rs 30,000 among the affected families from his own resources. He also informed them that financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh per affected family under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) would be disbursed to the victims. In addition, he assured that Rs 1 lakh would be provided to each affected household through CDF.
He said that he is in constant touch with the district administration and other concerned departments, urging them to ensure prompt assessment of the losses and expedite the release of relief and rehabilitation assistance. He emphasized that all necessary measures should be taken to provide immediate support, including temporary shelter, essential supplies, and compensation to the affected families.

Srinagar, 06 Jul: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President (Kashmir), Adv. Showkat Ahmad Mir Monday welcomed scores of political activists into the party fold during a joining programme held at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.
Among the prominent entrants was former corporator from Nund Reshi Colony, Rabiya Ji, who, along with several other political activists, joined the National Conference, reaffirming their faith in the party’s vision, principles, and people-centric politics.
The joining programme was facilitated by Mir Umar, Coordinator of the Central Shalteng Constituency. Welcoming the new entrants, Adv. Showkat Ahmad Mir said their decision to join the National Conference reflected the growing public confidence in the party’s commitment to safeguarding the interests, aspirations, and democratic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that their inclusion would further strengthen the party’s grassroots network and enhance its outreach across communities.

Sagar Reviews preprations for July 11 Madar-e-Meharban death anniversary Observance
Srinagar, 06 Jul: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Ali Muhammad Sagar Monday chaired a meeting of party functionaries and office bearers of Khanyar A and Khanyar B at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar. MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar was also present.
The meeting deliberated on various organizational matters, party affairs, and the issues confronting the Khanyar constituency. Discussions focused on strengthening the party’s organisational structure at the grassroots level, enhancing public outreach, and ensuring greater coordination among party workers to effectively address the aspirations and concerns of the people.
The participants reviewed the developmental works being undertaken in the constituency under the leadership of Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar and highlighted the various public welfare initiatives launched by the Omar Abdullah-led government. They appreciated the government’s commitment to inclusive development and people-centric governance while expressing satisfaction over the progress of ongoing developmental projects in the constituency.
