Ganderbal, June 02: Labour Commissioner, J&K, S. Charandeep Singh (JKAS) today undertook an extensive tour of Ganderbal district, including Kangan, Hariganiwan and Sonamarg, to review the registration of service providers for the smooth and successful conduct of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2026.
During the visit, the Labour Commissioner inspected registration camps established by the Labour Department and reviewed the progress achieved in the registration of various service providers associated with the Yatra, including Ponywalas, Palkiwalas, Pithuwalas and Hawkers. He interacted with the registered beneficiaries and assessed the arrangements put in place for facilitating a hassle-free registration process.
A total of 12,545 Service Providers have been registered as of 02-06-2026.
