Srinagar, July 16 : Two candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have secured top spots in the national toppers’ list for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, results for which were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday.
Official documents accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) shows that Hadiya Nisar has emerged as the highest-ranked candidate from the Union Territory, securing All India Rank (AIR) 99 with a percentile score of 99.9931.
Another candidate from the Union Territory, Zaidan Wani, secured AIR 124 with a 99.9931 percentile.
Notably, the official state-wise toppers list identifies the highest-performing candidates from each state and Union Territory based on the NEET-UG 2026 results.
Hadiya Nisar and Zaidan Wani are the only candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to feature in the list.—(KNO)
