Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with religious fervor across Ramban

RAMBAN, MAY 27: Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with great religious fervor and festive spirit across District Ramban as people from all walks of life gathered at mosques and Eidgahs to offer special prayers and mark the auspicious occasion with devotion, brotherhood and communal harmony.

The largest congregations were witnessed at Jamia Masjid Sharif Ramban and Eidgahs in Banihal, Gool and Batote, where hundreds of devotees offered Namaz-e-Eid and prayed for peace, prosperity and the well-being of the Union Territory and the nation.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan extended warm Eid greetings to the people and stated that such sacred occasions strengthen the values of unity, mutual respect, compassion and communal harmony in society. Senior officers from the civil and police administration also conveyed their heartfelt wishes to the Muslim community on this holy occasion.
