Interactive-cum-Learning Session on ELC 2.0

Registration & Onboarding of Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) on the ECI Portal

The District Election Office, Ganderbal organised an Interactive-cum-Learning Session for ELC Coordinators of 17-Kangan (ST) Assembly Constituency at the Conference Hall, BDO Office, Kangan on 14-09-2026 (Monday) and for 18-Ganderbal Assembly Constituency at Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal on 15-09-2026 (Tuesday).

The session focused on the registration and onboarding of Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) on the ECI Portal, along with practical guidance on portal login, registration and effective functioning of ELCs under the ELC 2.0 framework.

ELC Coordinators from all Government and Private High and Higher Secondary Schools of the constituency actively participated in the interactive session.

The programme aimed to strengthen electoral awareness, democratic learning, youth engagement and meaningful participation among students through vibrant and functional Electoral Literacy Clubs.
