Dosti Discussion’ held at Nadihal under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

BANDIPORA, JULY 03: As part of the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan and on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, the District Administration Bandipora on Friday organised a “Dosti Discussion” interactive awareness session at Boys Higher Secondary School, Nadihal, to educate students about the ill effects of drug abuse and encourage informed life choices.

District Information Officer, Aadil Manzoor Wani, attended the programme as the Chief Guest and administered the anti-drug pledge to the students at the outset, reaffirming their commitment to stay away from narcotics and contribute towards a drug-free society.

Addressing the gathering, the District Information Officer urged students to carefully examine their choices before making decisions and to embrace whatever is beneficial while rejecting what is harmful. He said that developing the habit of evaluating one’s decisions at the very beginning and remaining steadfast on the right path helps build sound judgement and character among young people.

Highlighting the importance of self-improvement, he emphasized that skills are developed through consistent practice and perseverance. He encouraged students to make productive use of their time, strengthen their abilities and remain focused on achieving their goals.

He also called upon the youth to actively support the administration’s efforts against drug abuse by staying vigilant within their communities, spreading awareness and collectively resisting the menace of narcotics.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and school staff and concluded with an interactive discussion, reflecting the District Administration’s continued commitment to creating a drug-free Bandipora through sustained awareness, community participation and youth engagement under the 100-Day Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.
