Ganderbal, June 30: On the occasion of World Social Media Day, Radio CUKashmir 90.8 FM broadcasted a special programe highlighting the growing impact of social media on communication, education and everyday life. The programme was hosted by Ms. Sofia Shafqat, PhD Scholar, Department of Communication and Journalism, Central University of Kashmir, and Mr. Shahzad Wagay, Radio Jockey, Radio CUKashmir 90.8 FM.
During the programme, the presenters discussed the significance of World Social Media Day and highlighted how social media has transformed communication, learning, business and public awareness. They spoke about the opportunities it offers for students, entrepreneurs and content creators while emphasising the importance of using digital platforms responsibly and ethically.
