SHOPIAN, JUNE 27: Tourism Development Authority (TDA) Shopian Dubjan Peer Ki Gali (SDPKG) today launched a modernization drive by way of installing a Digital Video Wall Screen and Time & Temperature Display Clock at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), in Tourism Park Borihalan, Shopian.
The initiative has been undertaken under the directions of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SDPKG, with the objective of modernizing tourism infrastructure, enhancing the visitor experience, and showcasing the tourism potential of the SDPKG region.
The newly installed digital facilities are expected to provide tourists with useful real-time information while creating a more attractive and welcoming ambience while visiting Tourism Park Bohrihalan and Tourist Reception Center. This initiative forms part of the Authority’s broader vision to promote the SDPKG area as a premier tourist destination.
Speaking on the new initiatives taken, the CEO, SDPKG stated that the modernization drive is aimed at exploring the untapped tourism potential of the region, attracting a larger number of domestic and international tourists, and generating economic opportunities for the local community through increased tourism activities.
