Ganderbal, 19th, June 2026: In view of the forthcoming Kheer Bhawani Mela-2026, Ganderbal Police conducted a comprehensive Joint Mock Drill at Tulmulla to assess preparedness, coordination and response mechanism among various security and emergency response agencies.
The mock exercise was conducted jointly by SOG Ganderbal, 24 RR, CRPF, SDRF, Markhor, Police Station KheerBhawani, District Hospital Ganderbal and Fire & Emergency Services. The drill focused on strengthening inter-agency coordination, quick response capabilities, evacuation procedures, medical assistance and effective management of any unforeseen situation during the smooth conduct of the Mela.
During the exercise, different teams demonstrated their preparedness, communication and operational coordination to ensure a prompt and effective response in emergency situations.
Ganderbal Police reiterated its commitment to ensure foolproof security arrangements, safety of devotees and smooth conduct of Kheer Bhawani Mela-2026 with close coordination among all stakeholders and participating agencies.
