Jammu & Kashmir: Khalid Jehangir today reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK), pledging to raise their suffering and human-rights concerns at national and international forums until justice is achieved.
“For years I have used every available platform to give voice to the people of PoJK,” Khalid Jehangir said. “My heart aches to see the hardships and atrocities they continue to endure. I assure my brothers and sisters in PoJK that their issues will be raised at every forum across the world until justice is served.”
Khalid Jehangir also announced plans to bring PoJK issues to international level and to continue advocating for the rights, dignity, and welfare of the affected communities through legislative and diplomatic channels.

Persistent representation: Continue highlighting PoJK concerns at national, international, and parliamentary forums and press for concrete measures and oversight.
Advocacy for dignity: Work with civil society, media, and international stakeholders to secure protection of human rights and restoration of dignity for affected families.
“Khalid Jehangir remains dedicated to ensuring that no voice from PoJK is ignored,” the statement added. “He will continue to stand with the people until justice and relief are achieved.”
